I didnt know being civic mindedness means you can charge and knock an elderly over just because you are agitated by his actions? Is this what "retaliation" means? By that logic anyone that carry an item walking towards my direction means i can whack and assault the person as a form of "retaliation"... Nonsense such a grown adult but yet a brain of a disabled person. Goodluck to your job, Maybe u can security guard at standard chartered bank instead charge andknock any elderly causing trouble.

you attacked an old man volunteering and cause him to fall to his death. you deserved the 5 years sentence for your impatience towards the elderly. we all knew how to behave socially. but there should be empathy for some where we can lift those rules. example young children cycling under shelter void decks. you don't chase them to cycle on the road, do you? (although our government don't condone that) old man already with walking stick, how could you bring yourself to "tackle" him like that?
