Man charged over racially offensive posts on Twitter

A Singaporean man who allegedly posed as "SharonLiew86" to post offensive tweets was hauled to court yesterday.
Zainal Abidin Shaiful Bahari, 34, was charged with four counts of committing acts against racial harmony.
He is accused of creating a post on Twitter on Oct 11 last year purporting that the academic achievements of Malay students were inferior to those of their Chinese counterparts.

SG is xtremely vulnerable 2 external influences where perpetrators in obscure identities use social media platforms 2 destabilize our unity n cohesion at ease. Could even b our neibors..or FT wiz vengeance. Race, religion must not b made our archilles heels. We need a leader wiz vision n foresight

Wrote to Ministry of Home Affair to bring down racist poster of Malay man being arrest at their building periment. They refused. SPF and SAF are racist.
