A man who was chopped in half by a forklift and had his entire lower body amputated has told how he is receiving emergency treatment in hospital for an infection. Montana man Loren Schauers lost three limbs and faced a long road to recovery after being crushed by the truck in September 2019. He made the brave decision to let doctors perform a hemicorporectomy - amputating everything below his waist to save his life.
