A man received an SMS stating that a new payee has been added to his account.
The link leads to a fake UOB website that tells the man to key in his credit card information.

This is indeed scaring as they can post like fm bank. Whoever recd would think it is true. So please take note to inform the elderly and love ones that the bank will never ask for your credit card information or ask you for money. be careful is most important

Normally, the banks process any new made credit card. The bank should know our credit cards no. & particular of names that's engraved on those credit cards. The bank should never call & ask for the information.

Of course you are right...personal info bank shd hve been updated and no reason to request again. So we hve to think and be careful not to fall into their trick.
