7 Jul - Wang Xiaofei's wife Mandy Ma has recently denied rumours saying that she has been restricting the Hsu family from seeing her stepchildren and the late Barbie Hsu's kids, Hsi-yueh and Hsi-lin.

The Taiwanese media previously reported that Wang and Mandy, who now have the custody of the two children following Barbie's passing, have been very strict when it comes to the affairs involving the two kids.

It was said that Mandy has forbade the Hsu family from taking the children to go and play with the twins of Blackie Chen and Christine Fan, who have been Barbie's best friends during her life.

It was also reported that the Hsu family also needs to get the approval of Mandy before they can visit Hsi-yueh and Hsi-lin even though the kids are living in Taiwan and are cared for by the nannies. Wang and his wife reportedly work in China most of the time.

When asked about the rumours recently, Mandy denied having the authority to deny the Hsu family.

"I don't have that much decision-making power. I have never opposed Mama Hsu from visiting her grandkids. One of the nannies is also a relative of the Hsu family," she said.

As for her supposedly banning the kids from seeing Fan Fan's twins, she said that it was a misunderstanding originating from the nanny's report that the children were overexposed to 3C products at the couple's home. She said that even a teacher had raised concerns about this issue.

"Is it wrong for parents to not want their children addicted to electronics? We would much prefer them to engage in more outdoor activities," she said.

Regarding claims that the Hsu family needs her permission to visit the children, Mandy denied this and said that they should actively visit rather than wait for approval if they truly care about the children.

At the same time, she urged the Hsu family to show more concern for Huang Chun-mei's mental and physical well-being, saying, "I hope the Hsu family will take good care of Mama Hsu's condition. No matter what, I wish her good health."
