KUALA LUMPUR: The manufacturing sector posted sales of RM171.7 billion in October 2025, a 6.3 per cent increase versus the 4.3 per cent recorded in September 2025, said the Statistics Department Malaysia (DOSM).

Chief statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin said the sales growth was mainly contributed by the electrical and electronics products sub-sector, which surged 11.5 per cent in October 2025 (September 2025: 6.4 per cent).
