Masing: Referendum on Sarawak waste of time and money
KUCHING: Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Masing has poured cold water on calls for a referendum to be held on Sarawak’s independence.
He said the result of such a referendum was not legally binding, adding that it would be a waste of time and money to pursue it.
