It works the same way to protect your phone in extreme cold, and it also provides excellent protection if your phone gets dropped or knocked over. Psst — you may have seen this on Shark Tank!
Promising review: "This is just what the doctor ordered for those who can’t take their cell phones into their workplace. It works, as I can attest to that. When I put it away in the car before I go into work, it is at the mercy of the cold and heat. This pocket does exactly what it says it can do. It protects the cellphone from heat and cold. This is the slickest thing since sliced bread. It is worth the price for keeping my phone safe from the elements. I believe in it because in triple-digit heat, the phone is still touchable after you remove it, instead of being hot as hell. If that doesn’t sell this, nothing will. Any naysayers shall be made into believers after they buy this. You can believe that. I do, and you can’t fake reality. Take it from me, it works as advertised and it will save your cellphone from certain death from the elements." —Mark Philpot

Promising review: "The inventor of this shade umbrella is a genius! A great way to see my phone when I’m at the pool. The umbrella provides shade for the entire phone. I have the giant iPhone Pro Max, and the full screen is shaded. I purchased 10 more of this shade umbrella to give as gifts. It’s whimsical but gets the job done. No more squinting to see my phone screen when I’m out and about in the sun." —Pam Kolnicki

Promising review: "I knew that this product was a great idea immediately after I saw the listing online. Having used it for a couple of days, I have to say that I am not disappointed. A few things I love about this product:
1. It allows me to work on my deck in the bright sun without my laptop being at maximum brightness. Reduces glare and allows me to work longer outdoors.
2. It is lightweight and twist-folds down to a small flat disc that I can store in my closet when not in use.
3. A bunch of thoughtfully designed features like a cushioned base to protect my laptop, flaps for charging ports, and a reflective exterior to prevent the unit from accumulating heat in the sun." —Clarence Chio

Promising review: "I bought this dehumidifier for our bedroom since I noticed some mold, and it feels stuffy during summer nights. We leave it on all night, and it really absorbs a lot of moisture. The noise is fine; it kinda makes our kids sleep since it sounds like white noise, so that doesn't bother us. We like our room with total darkness when sleeping, and there's an option to turn off the light, which is nice." —Roselle Cacap

BuzzFeed Shopping editor Natalie Brown is a proud member of the Supergoop fan club:
"I've been using this sunscreen at least once daily since my mom gifted it to me two Christmases ago, and have every intention to keep using it for years. A dime-size amount covers my entire face, because it's translucent it leaves absolutely no white cast, and 10 minutes after putting it on, my face just feels like I applied a little bit of a nice moisturizer or makeup primer, not anything that's grease-central, like sunscreen usually is. After several years of stubbornly trying (and failing) to find a decent, oily-skin-friendly, non-greasy drugstore option, I've caved to this pricier kind because literally none of the six or seven other options I tried even compared to this.
"Every time I've worn makeup since I got it, I've been impressed by the way my matte foundation glides over it, looks with it, and lasts with it. You can see the texture and color in the photo above; it really does go on completely clear. And it's water- and sweat-resistant for 40 minutes!"

Promising review: "I was very skeptical of this product but decided to give it a try after reading the reviews and knowing if it didn't work I could return it. Let me preface this review by saying I live a few miles from a swamp in south Louisiana.
"I know it says wait 15 minutes to give it time to work, but I wanted to make sure mosquitoes were swarming to test it effectively. So I camped out in my favorite chair and was immediately swarmed by mosquitoes. I started the unit, and in about 15 minutes there wasn't a mosquito near me! No exaggeration. I am sitting outside as night is falling in south Louisiana and not one mosquito is buzzing me. I have been out here just over an hour and I have only two bites – one bite was from when I first sat down and before the unit was on 15 minutes. I am seriously impressed with this product and I am ordering more for gifts and to expand my own coverage as soon as I am done with this review. And there is no stinky citronella smell. There is no odor at all. Amazing." —NolaMom

It comes with five different nozzles and can inflate up to five swim rings, eight single camping air mattresses, or two thick air cushions on a single charge. It can also deflate 10–12 storage bags in one go.
Promising review: "This little thing is awesome. I got it because we often go to the lake and I got tired of trying to blow up five floaties in 100-degree temps. It works fantastically. It’s very quiet in comparison to our larger air pump that you plug in. I inflated all of my kids tubes and then deflated them on a single charge no issue. I even used it to inflate a 10-foot paddle board. It wasn’t the fastest on the paddle board but it got the job done. It’s super compact and I just toss it in our swim bag or my mini backpack whenever we are going to be around water. 100% worth the cost. It charges quickly and I have the accessories make it easy to inflate most things." —Nicole Burgess

Promising review: "I got absolutely FRIED at the beach this past weekend and tried everything under the sun (literally) to provide some relief for my sunburn. I was in so much pain, and every over-the-counter aloe gel, lidocaine, and cold shower was not helping. I found this wrap on my TikTok and immediately bought it. As soon as I put this on my burn, I was immediately relieved of any burning or irritation. I am wearing four patches right now, and I plan on wearing them all day, every day until this burn heals. I will say the only downside is they slip off the aloe has worn off! And it is a little bit hard to maneuver to cut since it is so slippery. But overall, I love this product and will be a forever customer!" —Nick

But they are really great. I've worn them and washed them, and they are holding up well. They stay in place when I am working out hard or running. They are great at absorbing sweat, too. They probably stay in place a little better than the expensive headbands I have. The colors/designs are super nice, too. One of the best purchases I have made in some time!" —Terri D

I've been wanting to get an Owala for the longest time because 1) I'm a sucker for colorful things, and 2) I'm obsessed with water bottles. With that being said, I didn't *need* another bottle and my friends kept telling me it was a waste of money to get one. Obviously, I didn't listen to them and caved, and I'm not even kidding you, this is the one water bottle I bring with me EVERYWHERE. I've tried the Hydro Flask bottle and tumbler, HydroJug, and Stanley — I love them all, but I hate to say, the Owala just reigns supreme.
My fave feature has to be the straw because not only does sipping require less effort, but it's so much easier to drink while walking or in the car (aka no more dribbles). It's basically like having a tumbler with a lid. Seriously, whoever invented the Owala is an absolute genius. I recently went to the Bahamas and brought it everywhere with me and let me tell you, my water stayed cold the entiiiiire day. It's also so easy to carry around thanks to the loop, and when you want to put it in your bag, just push the loop down and it'll lock the lid in place — GENIUS!
Promising reviews: "I've tried them all, and this is hands-down the best water bottle!! I love that I can use it with the built-in straw or use it as an open water bottle, just depending on how I tip it while drinking. It's seriously perfect. My husband has been using a Stanley for four years and switched to this after seeing mine. No more leaking, or spilling." —rowleypolie
"Without a doubt, everyone has heard the uproar over huge insulated cup brands using lead to make their cups. If that is a concern for you, then there is no need to worry about this one. This cup is made lead-free and works phenomenally! I always put ice in my Owala with my water and notice that all the ice is still there over a span of 48 hours and still freezing cold." —DietDrKelp069

"This stuff is AMAZING! Literally nothing else keeps tangles out of my daughter’s hair like this does. Her hair is so thick and very difficult to brush; this makes it easy peasy to brush the tangles out after a swim in the pool. It also softens her hair. When not used, the pool chemicals make her hair very stiff and dry. We even use this every once in a while just because! It smells wonderful and doesn’t make the hair greasy in any way. After an endless amount of hours of picking up pieces of water balloons from my kids, I finally pulled the trigger on buying these, and my only regret is that I hadn't bought these sooner! They are AMAZING! They are super durable, we live in Arizona where it's hot and dry and they get left out by my kids, and the material is holding up great. My kids even use these in the pool, and I don't need to worry about little balloon pieces getting stuck in my filter or eaten by small animals. Do yourself a favor, and buy two sets because once you have one set, you will NEED another!!" —Bmama83

Promising review: "I threw these in my bag last minute for a trip to a resort in Cancun, and we absolutely loved them! They take up no room, and I easily fit two pillows in my carry-on bag to have for the beach. Made the beach chairs so much more relaxing by being able to be comfortable. They blew up so easily. It just took four big breaths for each pillow. Loved that I could either use the straps or sand to hold them in place. I also liked the idea of traveling with them in my carry-on in case we had a delayed flight, and I had enough time for an airport nap. I'll be bringing these on all future vacations." —Nikki Miller

Promising review: "I had a HUGE fruit fly issue after I found a rotting lemon that had called behind a bread box. I paid $20+ for the liquid fly traps, but nothing worked. I ordered these sticky fly traps, and within two days, the sticky traps caught 50+ fruit flies, and I don’t have any more fruit flies. These were the least expensive options I tried and worked the best. I HIGHLY recommend!!!" —Lisa

I reapply my own SPF 50 after a few hours, but I'm not consistent. I've never been great about sunscreen, but I was not going to let my daughter get burned. We live in South Florida and just a walk or park time is a potential burning hazard. This is a great visual for me to reapply her sunscreen or make sure she gets in the shade. Promising review: "I bought this fan to take on a trip to Japan. The trip was during the summer, which is just ridiculous heat and humidity. I'm from a hot climate and this heat was truly unreal. People, when I tell you that this fan SAVED me...I'm not kidding!
"I particularly enjoyed that the fan is also a flashlight (which I used on more than one occasion) and can charge your phone in a pinch! And it does, indeed, do both of these things really, really well! I used this for at least 8 hours straight every single day of a 15-day trip, and I charged it once (I'm not even sure I needed to). The charge on this thing is amazeballs.
"It might seem like it wouldn't do much, but this fan, and its two wonderful speeds, literally kept me from being overheated. Moving it around and not just focusing on my face was also helpful. In short, BUY THIS. Also, I wasn't even remotely the only person carrying one of these, from locals to other tourists. So as far as getting around in the extreme heat, no matter the continent, if you know, you know!" —La Cinema

Reviewers recommend using a more watery sunscreen; if your preferred sunscreen is quite thick, this may not work for you. And JSYK, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD)says most adults need about an ounce (the equivalent of a shot glass) of sunscreen to cover their face and body adequately.
Promising review: "Not just for kids. I told all my friends it's awesome. Pricey, but better than wasting expensive sunscreen in globs. This makes the sun screening process much less messy and not as much of a drudgery. They even have replacement pads available so the ergonomic container can be reused indefinitely. We were less concerned about mosquitoes because we have a service to eliminate them — it's the bees that were disturbing our outdoor meals and events. My wife hosted a few friends last night, and they all fell in love with this. They've all been fighting with bees lately, and they were not bothered once by any bugs. Every friend bought the netting on the spot – you're welcome to the company that manufactures this product. Also, when you're inside the netting sitting on chairs, it's almost as if the netting is invisible; most of the time, you can't tell whether it's even there, especially at night." —Sara Olshanky

Being the rebel that I am, I chose not to wear my phone around my neck, and so it, my ID, and my debit card ended up at the bottom of the river and I just assumed it would be discovered a thousand years from now and placed in a museum as an ancient artifact. Fast forward to this week. I was contacted via FB by an Alachua County Sheriff’s Office diver and guess what he found? Yup, my phone case with all of the contents intact and dry as a bone! Vimhue is an Arizona-based, woman-owned small business that specializes in uniquely engineered running hats.
My former colleague Ciera Velarde says: "I just bought this for my half-marathon training and I really like using it! I have to wear a hat while running because I sweat *a lot* and absolutely hate the sting of sweat dripping into my eyes. But whenever I would wear traditional caps, I didn't like that my ponytail had to sit pretty low on my head, which meant it would stick to my sweaty neck and make me feel even *more* hot. This solves all my problems!! I love being able to sport my high pony and feel a nice breeze on my neck. Plus: the material is super breathable, and I just throw it into the washing machine in a delicates bag whenever I need to wash it. (Make sure you hang dry!)"
