KUALA LUMPUR: MClean Technologies Bhd

has received an unusual market activity (UMA) query from Bursa Malaysia after a sharp rise in the price and volume of its shares.

The provider of precision cleaning and surface treatment solutions rose 7.53%, or 3.5 sen, to 50 sen, and was among the most active counters on Bursa Malaysia with 24.12 million shares traded.

Bursa has requested Sinaran to provide an explanation for the unusual trading activity.

“Investors are advised to take note of the Company’s reply to the above UMA query which will be posted at Bursa Malaysia’s website under the company announcements, when making their investment decision,” Bursa Malaysia said.
