Uncle Roger is officially off the market.  

The 34-year-old Malaysian comedian aka Nigel Ng just dropped wedding photos from the couple's three-day wedding celebrations in Portugal, where he tied the knot with fiancée Sabrina Ahmed in July 19.

The wedding was attended by 70 friends and family, who saw the couple go through outfit changes, from Western, Indian, and Chinese attires.

The occasion honoured Sabrina’s Bengali heritage with a sangeet (a pre-wedding Indian celebration), a Chinese tea reception, and a Western reception.

No wonder it lasted three days. 

But who exactly is Uncle Roger’s new wife?

Sabrina, who is of Bangladeshi Arab descent, honoured her parents by wearing her mother’s wedding saree from 1987, complete with the original jewellery.

Sabrina is a corporate lawyer, and was formerly corporate counsel for a Miam-based luxury resort developer.

She first saw Nigel in person in 2022 when he was hired by her former employer to perform at one of their properties in Miami.

In an interview with Vogue, Sabrina said she felt drawn to his humour and charm, even though a friend had dismissed the performer, describing him as a “guy who jokes about rice,”.

Sabrina then matched with Nigel on a dating app, and he offered to fly her to Boston for an in-person meeting in November 2022.

By sheer coincidence, their flights, originally hours apart, both landed at the exact time in the same terminal.

“Everything felt destined and easy,” recalled Ahmed in the interview.

“Within a few months, in March 2023, I realised already that I loved her and wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. The rest is history," gushed Nigel, and decided to move to London with Sabrina after.

Still, he only revealed Sabrina’s face to fans on Valentine’s Day 2024 with a sweet Instagram post captioned “My Valentine" with a heart-shaped emoji and tagging Sabrina's Instagram account.

He popped the question under cherry blossoms in Tokyo’s Inokashira Park in April 2024, though Sabrina revealed that is was not a surprise to her.

"As with most things in our life, Nigel doesn’t really know how to keep a secret because he’s always been more worried about whether I’ll like something or not,” she shared to Vogue, adding that she invited some of their future wedding party to their Japan trip, knowing he was planning to propose there.

The couple celebrated their engagement with a quirky photoshoot in Taipei night markets, and even outside a sex shop.
