Micah Richards says he is keen to follow Roy Keane to Sunderland (Sky Sports)

Micah Richards has joked about becoming Roy Keane’s assistant as the former Manchester United captain closes in on a return to Sunderland.

Keane, whose last stint as manager at Ipswich Town ended in 2011, is Sunderland’s first-choice candidate after the League One club sacked Lee Johnson on Sunday.
