Michael Bloomberg, biggest donor of 2025, tops Philanthropy 50 list for third year in a row
For the third consecutive year, Michael Bloomberg landed the number one spot on the Chronicle of Philanthropy's exclusive ranking of the 50 biggest donors of 2025.
The founder of the Bloomberg financial-news empire and former New York mayor gave US$4.3 billion (S$5.5 billion) to support arts, education, the environment, public health, and programs to improve city governments.

lol the whole of the list isn't able to top Pete Hegseth from dept of Defence who spent 93 fu*king BILLION dollars with a B for just the month of Sept 25.2$ mil of Alaskan King crab.15.1$ mil of ribeye steaks1$mil salmon.Our Ah Chan must have given him so much military sales.lol. talking egregious spending instead of giving! it's time to consider cancelling our US orders!
