Migrant Workers In Caged Lorry Video Sparks Debate In SG
8 DAYS·2025-12-06 13:18
Earlier this week, local media posted a video showing a group of migrant workers sitting in the back of a caged lorry, which was locked from the outside.
The clip was filmed by one of the site's readers, who expressed shock at the sight. According to him, the back of the lorry appeared to be locked with a chain hook. He questioned if it is “legal to transport people in Singapore” in that manner, citing safety concerns.

Also some lorry drivers with foreign workers sitting behind those 14ft & 20ft long truck or lorry can be seen speeding on 2nd lane on CTE abt 90kmh as well. Most of the workers can be seen dozing or sleeping behind and I think it's time for Traffic Police to looked into it. Any accident happens those at the back of lorry will be flying here n there.

Blame the transport ministry. Each new head sticks to archaic way of transporting workers. We have not moved to first world transport for these workers because most of them are foreigners?? Pee And Poo.
