This is us freaking out over Milo Ventimiglia's latest hair transformation.

The This Is Us alum unveiled a shaved head look while on set of his new series I Will Find You Aug. 27, and the shorter style is guaranteed to have everyone doing double takes.

During the filming day in New York City, Milo rocked a blunt buzzcut while wearing a navy polo shirt and matching pants with brown loafers. The hair style marked a noticeable difference from his usual long, black locks as he stood next to his costar Britt Lower while looking over script notes with a member of the crew.

And the 48-year-old—who plays Hayden, the ex-boyfriend of the Severance star's character Rachel, in the eight-episode Netflix show—offered another angle of his transformation later on, when he shot another scene inside a black car while donning a tan jacket.

I Will Find You—which is based on Harlan Coben'snovel of the same name and follows wrongfully imprisoned father David (Sam Worthington) as he embarks on a mission to find his son—is set to arrive on Netflix in 2026.

So far, details about the series have mostly been kept under wraps, but co-creator Robert Hull recently expressed his excitement over working with Milo and the rest of the cast on the project.

“The cast we’ve assembled is nothing short of phenomenal,” he told Netflix's Tudum in an interview published Aug. 21. “Any one of these incredible artists would be a dream on their own. The fact we’ve somehow drawn them all in is a testament to the power of Harlan’s storytelling and the incredible support of everyone at Netflix."

He added, "I cannot wait to watch them bring these roles to life.”

Of course, Milo hasn't only added a new gig to his latest life chapter. Earlier this year, the Gilmore Girls actor also welcomed his first baby, a daughter named Ke’ala Coral Ventimiglia, with his wife Jarah Mariano.

And fatherhood looks just as good on him as a buzzcut. Case in point: His wife recently shared a sweet snapshot of Milo holding the newborn in his arms while pointing to a tree to celebrate his 48th birthday.
