PETALING JAYA: It was pure joy for independent mixed doubles pair Wong Tien Ci-Lim Chiew Sien after they captured their first title together at the Kazakhstan International Challenge.

Tien Ci-Chiew Sien, who have been playing together on and off since 2021, came from behind to beat India’s Sanjai Dhanraj-K. Maneesha 9-21, 21-7, 21-12 in the final in Uralsk yesterday.
