KUALA LUMPUR: National referee Mohd Nazmi Nasaruddin has been selected as one of the main refereeing candidates for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, scheduled for June 11 to July 19, 2026.

The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) said Mohd Nazmi will depart for Qatar to attend the “FIFA World Cup Candidate 2026” course scheduled from Feb 25 to 29.
