While fans of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives are still waiting to unearth the truth about rumors that Jessi Ngatikaura cheated on her husband, Jordan, one of the stars of the show is dropping hints about what went down.

Newcomer Miranda McWhorter appeared on a May 14 episode of The Viall Files podcast, where she remained relatively tight-lipped about the rumors that Jessi had an affair with Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette, but did admit that her friend did something that “shocked” her.

Miranda said, “Yes” when host Nick Viall asked her, “Has Jessi admitted anything to you that she did something… that shocked you?” but didn’t specify what that something was.

Later in the interview, Miranda said that she thinks Jessi and Jordan’s relationship is now the “weakest” on the show.

Miranda did, however, admit that she is on Jessi’s side in her public feud with fellow cast member Demi Engemann. “I feel like Jessi has been very forthcoming about things that happened,” Miranda teased.

After arguing over contracts and Jessi’s hair product business in season two of the show, Jessi and Demi are no longer on speaking terms, with fans suspecting that Demi is responsible for the rumor about Jessi and Marciano. After Marciano claimed he slept with Jessi in the season finale of the show, a preview clip showed Jessi claiming, “She knows this is ruining my family, my life. This is Demi’s doing.”

Since the show aired, Jessi has opened up about ongoing issues in her marriage, confirming during a May 20 episode of The Viall Files, that she and Jordan are “working through things” but that she had decided to stop wearing her wedding ring.

“We’ve been through a lot and now it’s going to be public,” she said. “We’re trying our best, but things are a little tricky right now. I’m excited to hopefully someday share more about that. But right now it’s just real life and it’s hard.”

When asked if Jordan was a “role model” for the kind of husband she’d want her daughter to marry, Jessi said he was not. “No, I think that there’s been a lot that’s happened,” she admitted. “I think that he and I are both willing to work on things and change. But maybe he should be asked that question because that might wake him up. But no, I think there’s a lot of things that have needed to change.”
