Jan 13 (Reuters) - Jack ‌Doohan and the Renault-owned Alpine Formula One ‌team have agreed to end the dropped Australian ‌driver's contract, leaving him free to pursue opportunities elsewhere, they said on Tuesday.

Doohan started last season in a race seat ‍alongside Frenchman Pierre Gasly but ‍lasted only six races ‌before he was replaced by Argentine Franco Colapinto.
