The Traffic Police (TP) conducted a multi-agency enforcement operation with the National Environment Agency (NEA) and Land Transport Authority (LTA) against errant motorcyclists near the Woodlands Checkpoint on 21 March 2024.

During the operation, a total of 269 motorcycles were stopped for checks. TP detected 23 motorcyclists riding without a valid licence and without insurance coverage. Of the 23, one was also arrested for drink driving and another was arrested for cheating by personation. NEA issued 39 summonses for offences involving vehicular smoke and excessive noise emission. LTA issued 31 summonses for offences such as improper number plates, expired vehicle entry permit, expired road tax and expired insurance.
