South Carolina: Mother shot dead in supermarket car park

Jeroid Price was secretly released by the authorities after serving 19 years of his 35-year sentence in prison as a result of his support in saving two prison guards and warning them of an escape plot.

The 43-year-old was originally convicted in 2003 of shooting Carl Smalls, and was given his jail term in South Carolina.
