My Favorite Comfy White Sneakers Check Every Possible Box – And They’re Under $100

The perfect white sneakers are tough to come by, but I think I’ve found them – and so have celebs like Gigi Hadid and Sofia Richie Grainge. They’re the retro-looking Reebok Club C 85 Vintage sneakers, and in addition to the aforementioned taste-making celebrities, they can be spotted on... me!

These slightly off-white sneakers seem to go with everything, so I find myself wearing them almost daily – they look just as good paired with a casual dress as they do with my athleisure. And did I mention that they ring up under $100? No celebrity status required at that price point.

The sneaker’s original full name is the Club Champion, according to GQ, and it launched in 1985 as an off-duty shoe for tennis players. Like many of Reebok’s now-iconic 1980s designs, it quickly became popular off the court – Mick Jagger wore these or a very similar pair in the music video for his “Dancing In The Streets” duet with David Bowie – and the shoe’s cool factor persists to this day.

Plus, these sneaks are so comfortable. I wear them on long walks, in airports and while running errands. They had no break-in period, and I’ve never had to go home because of aching feet. All that while making every outfit look infinitely cooler.

Over Thanksgiving, I had an unfortunate run-in with a creek while walking through the woods in Arkansas. (As in, I fell in the creek, ok? Don’t worry about it.) But my Reebok Club C 85s were left soaking wet and covered in mud, to my dismay. While it may not be advisable, I threw them in the wash, and now they look good as new. So if you’re worried about white sneakers getting too dirty, know that these are easy to care for.

I went up half a size in these throwback kicks and they fit perfectly. Many shoppers reported taking their regular size, while some advised that the shoe runs narrow. And luckily, they come in both men’s and women’s sizes.
