The Biman Bangladesh airlines plane slid off the runway at around 12:00pm BST (6.20pm local time) as it performed a routine go around. Emergency services attended flight BG060, which according to the Daily Star was carrying 33 passengers, with 11 people - including the pilot - injured as a result of the crash. The incident took place during landing, according to sources from the airport.
