The first day of school can be tough for kids – and parents – with all the separation anxiety. You would think things would get easier the next year.

Well, they don’t, at least not for Hong Kong actress Myolie Wu, 44, and her eldest son Brendan, seven.

Myolie and husband, businessman Philip Lee, have two younger sons, Ryan, five, and three-year-old Liam.

Earlier this week, Myolie took to Xiao Hong Shu to document Brendan’s first day in second grade.
