NASA unveils stunning pictures of Milky Way-like galaxy ‘being assembled brick by brick’
Extraordinary new images released by NASA have captured the formation of a galaxy similar in mass to our own Milky Way in its early stages of development.
The James Webb Space Telescope has detected and "weighed" the galaxy, which has been dubbed Firefly Sparkle, and which existed about 600 million years after the Big Bang.
