NSF SAYS HE’S STRUGGLING, CAN’T SURVIVE WITH $750 ALLOWANCE & LIVING OUT OF SAVINGS
struggling really badly financially
hi guys, i’m an NSF in unit struggling pretty badly with financially and other problems but really feeling the pinch right now.
for context, I’m paying rent, have a couple bills to pay and expenses which my rank pay + combat pay of $750+ doesn’t cover at all so i’m living out of my savings now and have been since enlisting into BMT. I’ve searched up for financial assistance programs in the SAF but really didn’t find much. Not sure what to do since I really don’t think I can afford to support myself for a few more months, let alone till ORD in 2024.
I’m also a stayout personnel and on medical grounds can’t stay in camp so staying in is not an option. looking at getting concession passes to reduce my transport expenses but it also doesn’t really make sense. (I spent around $80 on bus and train fares) whereas concession for hybrid is $90+.
what can I do?
Bro ask ur unit in charge for financial assistance if i rmber correctly when i went into unit they had some talk during the orientation about FS so yeah u can ask and explain your situation maybe they can help

Before blaming him , Remember who consripted NS into our system innitially its the IDF . So needs to shift ur blame to them , this is what happens when we let foreigners become out military intel in the past and influence to what Singapore is today , ive suffered NS for 2 years Doing NS day and working as a Cleaner at night and slept only about 5 to 6 hours daily , So whats so great actually about NE unless being paid regilar salary then easy to talk
