19 Aug - The Sessions Court has recently set 19 September as the case management date involving singer, Naim Daniel, who was charged with committing physical sexual assault on a 17-year-old girl.
The information was revealed by Naim's lawyer, Nur Syafiah Athirah Ahmad Shafique, saying, "The next date is set for 19 September for the mention of case management. So, on the case management date, we will look at the additional documents that will be submitted by the prosecution, if any."
Meanwhile, Naim, or his full name, Muhammad Naim Daniel Baharin, 28, said he was grateful for the smooth running of the proceedings that took place.
"I was only there to hand over the documents first. Praise be to God, everything went smoothly and thank you to everyone who came," he said.

He also stated that he will continue to work as usual, and hopes that everybody will be patient in waiting for the next development on the case.
It was back in mid-June that Naim, when brought before the same court, pleaded not guilty after the charge was read out before Judge Datin M Kunasundary.
According to the charge, Naim has been accused of physically assaulting a 17-year-old girl on 19 May at approximately 8.56pm at the Ukiyo Hotel in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
The charge was made under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 and, if convicted, could lead to imprisonment for not more than 20 years.
