29 Feb - Michelle Wai couldn't help but laugh after veteran actress Nancy Sit mistakenly congratulated her for her "pregnancy".

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who was interviewed by Nancy on a programme for Metro Radio, laughed and patted on her belly to prove that she was not pregnant upon receiving congratulatory wishes from Nancy, who had mistaken her for Shiga Lin.

It is noted that both stars share the same Chinese name - Wai Sze Nga and Lin Si Nga. While Shiga, who is married to Carlos Chan, announced her pregnancy earlier; it is noted that Michelle, who is also good friends with Carlos, did play his pregnant wife in a movie prior to that.

When asked about it, Michelle said that she was not affected at all by the mistake, since she was often mistaken for Shiga Lin.

"Dad's friends often confused any news about me and her. They congratulated me on my marriage all the time. My father is not having a grandson. His daughter's surname is Wai," she said with a laugh.

As for Carlos and Shiga's good news, Michelle said that she has already congratulated the actor as soon as the news came out.
