The cost of living is rising, and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to enjoy a simple meal without breaking the bank. One Woodlands resident recently experienced this firsthand when they visited their local food court, Fork&Spoon in Woodlands Mart, to buy their favorite Malay Nasi Padang rice. However, they were shocked to find that the price of the meal had increased significantly, with no explanation or warning.

most of the malay stall selling nasi padang, etc etc.. most of the time and always charge very high price.. stall owner will always tell you, fish very expensive, this expensive that expensive, mee rebus, mee siam, lontong also they tell you expensive, takeaway containers they charge 50 cents... till now almost near 10 hrs I did not once eat any of the malay stall that sell nasi padang, nasi lemak, lontong,mee siam etc etc..... expensive the .most I don't eat

well,not a racist here but i tend to agree that Malay food are charged more than Chinese food and each time the dish we chose might be the same but price different..

The lady wearing glass is the owner of the shop. She is Not a local breed. Always charge suka-suka one. Most resident around that area dont patronise her stall. If she is not around and the stall is tended by other ppl.. Then ppl will buy.
