PETALING JAYA: With Merdeka Day just around the corner, 11-year-old squash player J. Keerti Pradhaa could not be savouring a more fitting achievement.

Keerti won the Southern Slam in India on Aug 22, her third international Under-13 title for the month. She had earlier lifted the Hong Kong Junior Open title on Aug 9, and topped the Korean Junior Open the following week.
