27 Aug – Although a lot of criticisms have been thrown their way, Neelofa is insisting that she would rather not comment on the relationship between sister Ameera Khan and Indonesian actor, Jefri Nichol.

The former actress, who is married to Islamic preacher Haris Ismail, stated that she doesn't want to cause any misunderstanding with whatever statement she makes regarding the issue.

"There are things that should not be addressed to the public as it could create more harm than good," she said. "And people will continue to criticise no matter what my respond would be."

When asked whether Ameera and Jefri's relationship was approved by her family, Neelofa insisted that the relationship issue was not something that should be discussed because it is personal.

Neelofa also said it is unfair to compare her and her sister because they are in two different fields.

"I'm grateful that I've been through a difficult phase and am now in a calmer phase. I want to focus on my family, business, and a life that gives me peace," she added.

Ameera has been the subject of much criticisms from netizens for her very public display of affection with Jefri, seeing how touchy-feely the two are despite being the sister of a very influential muslimah figure.
