Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) and Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes) are no strangers to an up and down relationship in Neighbours, but could the green-eyed monster be the thing to tear them apart?

Pierce’s (Don Haney) unexpected return has really done a number on these two. He put the cat amongst the pigeons by pitting them against each other in a bid for revenge after learning Nic was the reason his marriage imploded. Well, his own actions were the reason his marriage imploded, but he’s salty that Nic was the one to bring them to light.

It hasn’t gone unnoticed that Chloe is behaving differently since he came back and it’s hitting Nicolette in her insecurities. Does her girlfriend want her ex back? She’s noticed that Chloe has

started becoming more and more withdrawn, a sure-fire sign she is checking out of their relationship.

Nic can’t handle it, she hits breaking point and when she spots Chloe and Pierce’s wedding album has recently been looked through, she loses it.

In an absolute blind rage, she tears the album to shreds, making sure it is totally destroyed, leaving her lover with no memories of the past.

Chloe is heartbroken to find the remains of the album and is in total shock, why would Nicolette do such a heinous thing on today of all days? This is the moment Nic learns the error of her ways – Chloe hasn’t been distant, she’s been grieving as today is Fay’s birthday. It wasn’t that she was getting close to Pierce, she just needed some time to herself. Nic got it so, so wrong.
