Neil Robertson is keeping his new look for the World Snooker Championship after playing so well to win the Tour Championship with his eye-catching hair style.
The Australian new haircut, or lack of haircut, came as a result of the barbers being closed over lockdown, but despite the hairdressers being open again now, he is keeping his wild locks for his trip to the Crucible.
The 39-year-old had planned to go back to his normal trim, but he was so brilliant in winning the Tour Championship at the end of last month that the hair is going nowhere.
‘The owner of my club said I can’t, he said: “You will lose all of your power if you get your hair cut,” like Samson,
‘It is more like a lion’s mane now, so if I get my hair cut and get beat, then everyone will blame it on the haircut.’
The Aussie also revealed that the world champion is a fan of the barnet, telling Eurosport’s The Break podcast: ‘Ronnie loves it, Ronnie says I’ve got to keep it!’
