"Music has been the backbone of my life. I'm addicted to music. It's my best friend." This was how Singaporean film director and YouTube personality Vinesh Nagrani — who also goes by his alter ego Vinny Sharp  — famously professed his love of music to fellow cast member and pop singer Tabitha Nauser in a pitch to direct her single "Don't Let Me Drown" in the second episode of Netflix's viral docu-series Singapore Social.
