SINGAPORE - Local produce is getting a boost at a new FairPrice supermarket in Marine Parade, which will carry more goods from domestic makers.
The new FairPrice Xtra hypermarket on the third floor of Parkway Parade will be the first here to have dedicated sections for local produce such as fish, eggs, vegetables and mushrooms, and is aimed at promoting local brands and products.

Agreed totally. Why not support local workers instead of imported workers? One possible reason is imported workers could be cheaper just like imported goods from neighbouring countries are cheaper.

Great news? This pro singaporean exercise should be replicated all over singapore! However,please let the vegetables get the natural sunlight not artifical lighting? The important this is our food cannot be from the lab
