SINGAPORE – In the newly opened Bidadari Park – once a cemetery, now a green refuge for people and migratory birds – lies a scenic lake that can also protect the Bidadari estate from flash floods.
Alkaff Lake is the centrepiece of the roughly 13ha verdant park which is nestled in the middle of the new Bidadari estate.

Most probably, at junction of upper Aljuniee and Upper Serangoon Rd, traffic light junction to AVON PARK CONDOM.

Talk if the Alkaff Lake, if I'm not wrong, during the 50-60, it was already on existing where when i was a child, we used to do fishing there . It's not very popular, but the natural serenity atmosphere there was very attractive. This Alkaff garden or Alkaff lake should be located somewhere near to today's Gruka Camp around Macpherson/Upper Aljunied Road location.
