Tipster Evan Blass has been leaking Lenovo-related renditions and one set of the images pertains to the next-generation Lenovo ThinkBook Plus (Gen3?). There had already been a good look at this laptop back in late October, but at the time only one image of the device was shared. Blass has now posted four more images of the 17-inch laptop, revealing a few of its secrets, which includes the presence of Harman Kardon-branded speakers. The wide 17-inch Lenovo ThinkBook Plus (2022) has a secondary color display, which look like a tablet, embedded into the right-hand side of the keyboard deck. This should offer productivity gains for content creators and the like, but it could also be an issue for the 10-12% of the population that is made up of left-handed people. However, the color tablet-like screen is still a step up from the E-ink display that the 13.3-inch ThinkBook Plus had integrated into its lid.A commenter has also pointed out that the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus appears to be running macOS versions of apps, and the renditions also show how the tablet display could be utilized as a quick-start alternative to the Windows 11 menu shown on the main screen. There is also a stylus present, and it is possible to work out some of the connectivity options with 2x USB-C ports, 2x USB-A ports, an HDMI port, and a 3.5 mm jack being visible. More details of the 17-inch Lenovo ThinkBook Plus, including specs, price, and launch date, are likely to be announced at CES 2022. Buy the ThinkBook Plus Gen2 on Amazon
