A new mosque that can accommodate more than 1,500 congregants is set to be built in Bukit Bintang, Malaysia’s busiest tourist and commercial district, with construction expected to begin soon and completion targeted for early next year.

The project will be housed in a building formerly known as Bangunan Yayasan Selangor.
