It seems that despite finalizing their divorce and seemingly focusing on co-parenting, Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner can’t seem to bury the hatchet.

In photos (and eye-witness accounts) obtained by TMZ, Costner and Baumgartner were in attendance for their son Cayden’s high school graduation in Santa Barbara. However, they were so far apart from one another throughout.

While they were both in attendance for their son, they were on opposite ends of the school grounds to take pics with him.

So while Baumgartner is planning a wedding, and Costner has moved on with his dating life, it seems the tension still hasn’t died down.

For those who don’t know, Costner and Baumgartner divorced in 2024 after nearly 20 years together, but continue to co-parent their three children, named Cayden, Hayes, and Grace. Soon after their divorce, Baumgartner started dating her now-fiancé, Josh Connor. However, Costner alleged there was an overlap between their relationship and her new one.

Baumgartner filed for divorce from the Yellowstoneactor after nearly 20 years of marriage, citing “irreconcilable differences” in the paperwork. Then, for about a year, Costner and Baumgartner’s divorce played out quite publicly, with many jabs and back-and-forths based around their finances (specifically child support payments).

(Fun fact: Along with his divorce from Baumgartner, Costner had another messy divorce from his first wife Cindy Silva, where he allegedly had an affair and she received an $80 million settlement.)
