SINGAPORE – Mediacorp news anchor Glenda Chong is getting ready to give birth .

The 51-year-old showed off pictures from a maternity photo shoot she did with her lawyer husband and their two dogs ahead of her delivery.

Chong, who married Mr Justin Chan in 2014, is around nine months pregnant with their first child, a boy.

In a video reel posted to Instagram on March 2, the local TV personality shared snaps of herself wearing an unbuttoned shirt, a bandeau top and jeans, while Mr Chan, who is in his late 40s, cradles her baby bump from behind. The video also included photos of the couple holding hands while their dogs idle by.

She captioned the picture: “Snapshots of our fur babies as we await the arrival of junior.”

The couple were both keen on having children, but their journey to parenthood was a challenging one. Chong finally conceived after 10 years of trying, which involved 10 cycles of in-vitro fertilisation.
