San Francisco-based startup Olto has raised US$5.1 million in pre-seed funding to enhance its AI-powered platform for business-to-business (B2B) software demonstrations.

The funding round was co-led by Nexus Venture Partners and The General Partnership, with additional contributions from Afore Capital, Recall Capital, Ligature, FirstHand, and several industry executives.

The new investment will aid Olto in further developing its platform. It seeks to address inefficiencies in traditional sales demonstrations by providing more targeted and dynamic experiences for buyers.

The company was founded by former Amazon executives Kintan Brahmbhatt and Jean-Baptiste Chaput, along with Amazon engineer Pranav Midha.

Olto’s platform connects with company customer relationship management (CRM) systems to create personalized and interactive product demonstrations for individual buyers.

The technology employs multiple large language models (LLMs) and an orchestration layer to adapt to changing product features.

This aims to improve sales efficiency and reduce the need for manual demo preparation.
