Nicole Ari Parker Had Three Special Supporters at the And Just Like That Photo Call & We Can’t Get Enough
Season 3 of And Just Like That is almost upon us!
A little ahead of the premiere on May 29, stars of the show joined at the Crane Club in NYC on May 21 for the third season’s photocall. In addition to the powerful trio who spearheads the show, aka Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, their co-star Nicole Ari Parker, who plays the fearless Lisa Todd Wexley on the show, also made a glamorous appearance. Plus, she had three special supporters by her side!
Parker was joined on the carpet by her longtime husband, Boris Kodjoe, her 20-year-old daughter Sophie Tei Naaki Lee Kodjoe and her 18-year-old son Nicolas Neruda Kodjoe.
She rocked the carpet in this shimmering Stella McCartney mini-dress paired with a wavy blonde bob and dark burgundy lips. Parker’s family also stepped up their fashion A-game. While Station 19 star Boris wore a classic black suit and matching button-down, Sophie wore a colorful plunging suit with sewn-in bunny details and Nicolas wore a crisp cream suit with a white button-down and statement pink sunglasses. Talk about a stylish family!
Currently, Sophie is a sophomore in college at Howard University in Washington, D.C., while Nicolas, nicknamed “Nico” by his family, is playing pro basketball in Munich, Germany.
“I talk to them every day,” Parker said about their bond in a new interview with Us Weekly. “I’m solving issues every day. I’m totally still Mommy. It’s a beautiful time.” Looking at them on the carpet, it’s clear that they’re such a close family.
Parker recently gushed about her family to Us Weekly, and revealed her secret to her long-lasting marriage since 2005. “You’ve got to be compatible,” she said. “Have the hots for each other, like and love [your partner].”
“But even when all of that’s in place, there’s something about wanting to be married with children that’s a baseline, because it’s not for everybody,” she continued. “Same person every single day. Somebody calling you crying from the nurse’s office at school. In rough patches, we were like, ‘But I want to be married to you with this family for the rest of my life. I love this.’ It gets hard, you get in ruts, you get sick of each other, but you find a way. So far, so good.” We love to see it!
