Nine Perfect Strangers season two is back with a star-studded cast to rival the show’s first season, which aired back in 2021.

The series, which follows Nicole Kidman’s eccentric resort owner Masha, follows a group of strangers throughout their 10-day wellness retreat. During their stay, Masha’s on a mission to “reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies.”

While season 1 took place at the Tranquillum House in the fictional town of Cabrillo, California, season 2 of the show, which premieres on May 21 on Hulu, will take place in the Austrian Alps.

“She’s created a whole new world and she’s had to leave where she was because she had legal issues,” Kidman told ExtraTV of her character. “She’s now in the Austrian Alps, but she’s creating new frontiers, new protocols and taking people on trips.”

Of course, while Kidman will be returning as Masha, season 2 will also see new faces as both her employees and new clients.

Among them is Schitt’s Creek star Annie Murphy. “The cast is so extraordinary,” Murphy said of the show on theToday Show. “We ended up with a bunch of genuine theatre nerds, which is the perfect scenario.”
