Chinese automaker Nio officially introduced itsFirefly compact EV brand in Thailand with Thai importer and distributor Thonburi Blue Sky.

The move comes as the company seeks to accelerate its expansion into right-hand-drive markets.

The debut featured the Firefly smart city car, a fully electric premium compact with rear-wheel drive and a tight turning radius designed for urban maneuverability.
