No penalties in first year of self-assessment stamp duty system, says LHDN
PUTRAJAYA, Dec 21 — The Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) will not impose penalties during the first year of the Self-Assessment Stamp Duty System (STSDS) for applications submitted from January 1 to December 31, 2026, in efforts to ease duty payers into the new regime.
