Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said he was surprised by AMD’s decision to give OpenAI the potential to acquire about 10% of AMD’s shares through warrants as part of a new multibillion-dollar partnership.

AMD, a US chipmaker, and OpenAI announced the deal earlier this week, with OpenAI committing to purchase AMD chips providing 6 gigawatts of computing power over several years, including the upcoming MI450 series.
