Cursor is in talks with investors for a funding round that could value the AI coding startup at about US$50 billion.

The discussions are preliminary and may not result in a deal, according to people familiar with the matter.

Cursor announced a US$2.3 billion round in November that boosted its valuation to US$29.3 billion and that its annualized revenue topped US$2 billion in February.
