Nvidia has received approval from Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs to establish a subsidiary with an investment of NT$1 billion (US$32.1 million).

The US-based chip company revised its application on November 12 after an earlier approval in September.

Nvidia currently operates three branches in Taiwan, and the new subsidiary will allow it to manage assets, contracts, and tax matters independently.
