PETALING JAYA: The Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM) has accepted the decision from the government to not host the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Malaysia.

OCM, which also helms the Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) of Malaysia, first announced the news that the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) offered the hosting rights to Kuala Lumpur and even urged the government to take up the hosting rights.
