Oil plunges after Trump signals Iran war will end ‘very soon’

SINGAPORE – Oil prices tumbled after
US President Donald Trump hinted that the Iran war could end soon,
easing concerns about prolonged disruptions to global oil supplies.
Global oil benchmark Brent crude fell US$7.25, or 7.3 per cent, to US$91.71 a barrel as at 8am Singapore time on March 10. Brent spiked 29 per cent to a session high of US$119.50 the previous day.
