KUALA LUMPUR: Asian track cycling powerhouse Iran have been forced out of Malaysia’s first World Cup meet in Nilai due to the ongoing conflict back home.

Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF) president Datuk Amarjit Singh Gill said it was “almost impossible” for Iran to make it to the competition due to the ongoing war in their country.
